All about the scent:

This fragrance was created by our perfumers specifically for Parfum sur Mesure and manufactured in Aubagne in Provence in our workshops. 

 

This creation complies with all European cosmetic standards (CLP EC N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/EEC) and French standards (IFRA).

 

This base contains ingredients of natural origin. Thus, its color may vary over time depending on its exposure to light, storage conditions, and temperature. In the technical elements of this sheet, you will find the color palette that this fragrance can take on.

Olfactory notes

Top: The top opens with a beautifully vibrant hesperidic-spicy-green accord. Fresh and luminous citrus notes create an engaging first impression. Star anise, an aniseed and slightly sweet spice, adds an original and Mediterranean aromatic dimension. Green, vegetal, and spicy notes complete this sparkling opening, characterized by a fully asserted aromatic dynamism.
Heart: The heart is built around a singular floral-aromatic accord. Violet, powdery and romantic, brings its characteristic floral delicacy. Licorice, sweet and slightly aniseed, evokes old-fashioned sweets and creates continuity with the aniseed opening. Sandalwood, creamy and milky, elegantly structures the accord, bringing a soft and enveloping woody dimension to this original licorice heart.
Base: The base settles into a comfortable woody-oriental accord. Clean and silky musk prolongs the sillage on the skin. Cedar brings its light and slightly camphorated woody structure. Golden vanilla closes the composition with a warm and comforting sweetness, creating a balanced woody vanilla base, neither too sweet nor too dark, with accessible elegance and remarkable persistence.

Difference in use between fragrance base and formula

The scented base is the undiluted concentrate of the fragrance composition. It cannot be used without dilution in alcohol. This base will allow you to "create" your own perfume according to the concentration you desire. However, we invite you to read and follow the recommendations regarding maximum concentration and preparation.

 

The macerated formula is a ready-to-use perfume. It is the scented base previously diluted in denatured alcohol according to the percentage indicated in this sheet. Once prepared, the formula has been kept in a maceration tank for a minimum of 4 weeks to exhale the full richness of its composition. It is finally filtered to remove any impurities before being offered to you.

Recommended Use for the Fragrance Base

To dose the fragrance in your creations, we recommend you proceed by trial and error to obtain the desired olfactory intensity. Each fragrance has its own strength and balance, which can influence the final result.

 

The higher the fragrance concentration, the more intense its diffusion and the longer it lasts.

 

Remember to consult the IFRA certificate, available for download on the product page. It specifies the maximum authorized fragrance concentration, depending on the use.

Origin & manufacturing

All our formulas are created by our perfumers in our workshop located in Aubagne, in the South of France. The fragrance bases are mixed with alcohol then left to macerate patiently for a period of 4 to 6 weeks in order to reveal the quintessence of their aromas. The juice is then filtered to remove any impurities before being packaged.

Our fragrance bases are exclusively produced in France by our partners located near our workshop in Provence.

Dilute according to the recommended guidelines in alcohol provided for this purpose and allow to macerate for at least 4 weeks. If necessary, filter the resulting juice to remove any impurities. Package in appropriate packaging. Spray as needed on skin or clothes. For external use only.

What is the difference between a formula and a fragrance base?

The formula we offer for this fragrance is a ready-to-use product. It is formulated, meaning diluted in denatured alcohol according to the indicated percentage, then macerated for 4 to 6 weeks before being filtered to remove any impurities. The formula has the advantage of being a quick, reliable solution based on the expertise of our perfumers.

The concentrated base, on the other hand, must be prepared by you according to the desired concentration level. It offers you a wider range of concentration possibilities for a 100% custom creation.

How can I ensure the product's regulatory compliance?

How do I store the product I purchased?

To preserve your fragrance formula or base, we advise you to store it away from strong sun exposure and at room temperature (between 18 and 30°C). Fragrance formulas and bases do not like sudden temperature changes, so we recommend avoiding any thermal shock. 

Finally, most formulas/bases contain natural ingredients. Therefore, their color may vary over time depending on light exposure, but also depending on the year and/or season, as each harvest of natural ingredients can vary.

Can I order samples?

We do not offer samples. However, you can order our smallest sample-sized container (available for most of our scents) to "test" the scent.

What is the delivery time for my fragrance? 

If the product is in stock, shipping will occur within 24/48 hours. Once your order has been shipped, most of our shipping partners will deliver it within 2 to 5 business days. 

 

If your product is not in stock, this timeframe may be extended. If this is the case, our customer service team will contact you to provide an estimated shipping date.

Can I return the product if I'm not satisfied?  

If you change your mind, you can return your order at your own expense if the products are intact, unopened, and unused (and if they are not personalized products). This is why we recommend that, if you wish to test the products before purchasing a larger volume, you order our smallest packaging to check if the scent is to your liking.

 

In the event of a return request, we advise you to contact our customer service department, who will guide you through the process. Please note: you are responsible for the returned products during transit. Therefore, we will not be able to reimburse you if your package is lost/damaged.

 

IMPORTANT: in accordance with current legislation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized products.
